Kenton is a highly accomplished global businessman and entrepreneur. In 1989, he founded Waste-Tron, a Durban, South Africa-based waste management business. Kenton had a vision for a large scale, global, fully integrated facilities management services group so, after growing and developing this business into a fully-fledged waste management operation, he sold Waste-Tron in December 1996 and used the capital and expertise gained to found Servest.
Under Kenton’s stewardship and through a carefully managed process of organic expansion, acquisition and merger, the Atalian Servest Group today enjoys global revenues exceeding €3.0 billion, spans 4 continents, operates in 33 countries and employs approximately 150,000 colleagues. As global Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the South African group, Kenton continues to play a leading role in the company –providing active strategic leadership and guidance to the group and the executive management team. Beyond Servest, he also dedicates a measured time to his broader business interests and holds several industry-diverse but focused private capital investments.
Kenton has been married for 26 years and has two adult children. A keen runner and skier, Kenton is based in Switzerland which provides ample opportunity to do both. He and his wife Nicola travel extensively for leisure and business, and between their homes in Zug, France, London and Cape Town.
